1998
Two people and a truck
Started on repairs the bigger outfits would not take, working off a phone number passed between neighbours.
2006
The first full crew
Four roofers, two vans, and the first jobs big enough to need a skip on the drive rather than a tarp.
2014
Prices went on the website
The idea nobody in the trade liked. It cost us negotiating room and won us the customers who had already been quoted twice.
2020
Storm work, at scale
A bad hail season taught us to schedule around insurance adjusters instead of waiting on them.

The estimator
The same rates our own estimators use, put on the site so a homeowner can get a range before anyone knocks.
Nobody enjoys ringing a roofer
We have been putting roofs on Central Texas homes since 1998. The trade has changed a lot in that time. One thing has not: nobody enjoys ringing a roofer.
To protect what matters most
A roof is the only part of a house whose job is to be ignored. Ours is to put one up that earns being forgotten about, and to be straight with you about what that costs before you have committed to anything.
Roofave started as two people and a truck, doing the repairs the bigger outfits could not be bothered with. The work came from neighbours telling neighbours, which is still where most of it comes from.
What we kept hearing was not about workmanship. It was about the process — the sales visit before anyone would name a figure, the quote that arrived three days later, the feeling of being sold to in your own kitchen.

To be the roofer people recommend without being asked
Most of our work still arrives the way the first job did, from somebody telling a neighbour. That is the only growth number we actually watch.
So we did the obvious thing and put the prices on the website. The estimator on this site uses the same rates our own estimators do, and it will give you a range before we know your name.
It costs us some negotiating room. It has also meant that by the time we do meet somebody, they already know roughly what the job costs, and we can spend the visit talking about the roof instead of about money.
The things we will not budge on
Say the number first
Every quote we give is itemised, and the estimator gives you most of it before we ever speak.
Fix what is wrong
Not what is easiest to sell. If a repair will do, we will tell you a repair will do.
Show the evidence
Photographs of anything we flag, before and after. You should not have to take our word for what is on your roof.
Leave it clean
Magnet sweep, skip gone the same day, gutters cleared. It is the part people mention most.
Turn up when we said
A morning slot means a morning slot. If the weather moves us, you hear it from us first.
One crew, start to finish
The people who quote your roof are the people who strip it. Nothing is handed to a sub you never met.
Answer the phone after
The warranty is only worth what the callback is worth, and the callback is the part most outfits get wrong.

These are not real people. The team section is structural. Replace it with actual staff and photographs, or remove it.
Paperwork you can ask for
Any roofer worth hiring will hand these over without being asked. If one hesitates, that is your answer.
Licensed and insured
Full liability and workers’ compensation cover, certificates on request.
Manufacturer certified
Certified installers for the systems we fit, which is what makes a manufacturer warranty enforceable.

Working the same metros for over two decades, mostly on referrals from people we have already roofed.

Join the crew, climb higher
If you can hang a roof properly and turn up when you said you would, we would rather hear from you than from an agency. Tell us what you have worked on.

No awards have been won. This section is a structural placeholder. Claiming an accolade a business has not received is a false advertising claim, so it takes real entries or it comes out.
