• The estimator put us within a few hundred dollars of the final figure, which after three other quotes was the first time anyone had been straight with us about money before turning up.

• Two roofers had patched the wrong spot. These guys spent a morning actually finding the leak instead of guessing, and it has been dry ever since.

• They talked me out of the more expensive material because it was wrong for my frame. I did not expect that from a contractor and it is why I recommend them.

• Free inspection, written report, photos of everything. Told me I had five years left rather than selling me a roof. Came back to them when the five years were up.

• Crew turned up when they said, kept the site tidy, and ran a magnet over the drive twice. Small things, but they are the things you notice.

• Phased the whole warehouse around our shipping schedule. We did not lose a single operating hour, which I did not think was possible.
