Privacy policy

What we would collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

This is a scaffold, not a policy. Roofave is a placeholder business and this document has not been written or reviewed by a lawyer. Each section below describes what belongs in it. Replace the lot before the site handles a single real enquiry.

01What this site collects today

Nothing leaves your browser. Roofave is a static site with no server behind it: the estimator works out its numbers in the page, the quote PDF is generated on your own device, and the contact form does not post anywhere. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels are set by this build.

02What a live version would collect

This section needs to list, specifically: form submissions and what fields they contain, any analytics provider and its retention period, any cookies set and their purpose, any advertising or remarketing pixels, and any third party the data is shared with — a CRM, a scheduling tool, a payment processor.

03Lawful basis and retention

State the basis for processing and how long each category of data is kept. An enquiry, a completed job and a marketing list all have different answers, and the policy has to give each one.

04Your rights

Set out how somebody asks what you hold, corrects it, or has it deleted, and how quickly you will respond. The specifics depend on jurisdiction — a Texas business serving Texas residents has different obligations from one taking enquiries from California or the EU.
