Standing seam metal for an energy retrofit
The owners wanted the cooling bill down and the roof to be the last one they ever bought. Standing seam in a light finish, over a fully vented deck.

The problem
A cut-up roof with four dormers and a turret. Standing seam does not forgive a bad set-out, and every panel had to be measured off the building rather than off the plans.
What we did
We modelled the panel runs before ordering, hand-formed the turret flashings on site, and ran a continuous ridge vent the length of the main span.
The result
A roof rated well past the owners' time in the house, and a measurable drop in summer cooling load.
